Last month we celebrated 30 years of serving as the catalyst and leader for the expansion of youth mentoring across Virginia by honoring 10 mentors from diverse communities. The event served as an opportunity for mentoring partners to engage in meaningful interactions while highlighting the achievements of exceptional mentors.
Jermaine Myrie, CEO of MENTOR National joined us as keynote speaker to emphasize the impact mentors have in their mentees’ lives. Myrie talked about the power of mentoring and the importance of mentors providing valuable support and guidance to youths when it matters the most.
The mentors honored at our 30th Anniversary Champions of Mentoring were:
- Brian Tannenbaum, L.A.U.N.C.H for Life
- Dustin Beekman, L.A.U.N.C.H for Life
- Ge-Rard Henry, L.A.U.N.C.H for Life
