Community Q&A Hour: Program Evaluation

December 2 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Take a lunch break on Thursday, December 2nd and join us for Q&A time with expert mentoring program evaluator, John Harris. Evaluation doesn’t have to be complicated, and to prove it, John will join us in his famous Hawaiian shirt to help demystify the process and answer questions like:

  • How can my program get started with program evaluation or take our evaluation to the next level?
  • How much should my program be budgeting for evaluation?
  • If my program doesn’t have a budget, how can we still do evaluation?

Not sure what evaluation questions you have? No problem. John can ask some helpful questions to get your program thinking about your evaluation plans. Regardless of how long you’ve been operating a mentoring program or how long you’ve been working on evaluation, you will leave the meeting with helpful action steps your program can take to make progress on your evaluation goals.

This opportunity is free and open to any youth mentoring programs that have questions about how to get started with or enhance their program evaluation efforts.

To get the link to drop into this lunch hour session, register here. We will be providing this space every first Thursday of the month from 12 – 1 pm through the end of the year. Register once and you will be able to drop into any/all of the sessions.

If you have 20 minutes and want a quick overview of program evaluation for mentoring programs, check out our July Community Coffee Hour recording, featuring evaluation ideas and strategies from MENTOR’s Director of Research & Evaluation.
