In July, MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership released the results of its national initiative to collect survey data from mentoring programs across the country. On a state level, VMP gathered data from Virginia programs to gain information about the services, staffing, funding, participants, and needs of youth mentoring programs. This data is instrumental to MENTOR and VMP’s advocacy, awareness-building, and programmatic support efforts.
Thank you to our participating Virginia programs. Of VMP’s network of 98 active mentoring programs, 41 programs responded. Your involvement is critical to informing the mentoring movement at a state and national level.
